What will Baypointe do?

Baypointe Church: pointing up…pointing out.
Following the mandate of Jesus, Baypointe Church will love God (point up) and love people (point out.) This simple approach to life will allow us to not only bring people to a life changing moment with Christ, but to begin a journey of faith that will influence their surrounding world. To best be able to accomplish this purpose, we have been led to create the following parameters in which we will structure our church.

Mission Statement:
To be encouraged in heart, united in love, and completed in Christ. (Colossians 2:2)

This mission statement will be the foundation of our discipleship process: Encourage, Unite, Complete. By encouraging the hopeless, we can introduce them to the grace, mercy, and love of Jesus. Uniting them with a community of believers in a small group (Pointe Groups) environment will be the intentional next step. Finally, by creating and implementing mechanisms by which people can serve God and others, the person will have the ability to move closer to being complete in Christ.

Vision Statement:
BayPointe Church is a place that strives to cultivate a person’s ability to engage Christ in a life changing way. We will not be afraid to employ cultural relevance, a commitment to excellence, full authenticity, and Christ-like service to create a community where non-believers and believers can personally experience the love of Christ.
